LEGAL EXPERIENCE:
New York Lawyer in private practice since 1976
Taught Business Law at Rockland Community College
Shandaken Town Justice - since 1997 (23 YEARS)
 
MILITARY SERVICE:
When President John F. Kennedy gave his famous quote:  "Ask not what your country can do for you, Ask what you can do for your country."
he responded by volunteering for the U. S. Army, for paratrooper training, and for training as a "Green Beret" medic, and then volunteered and served in Vietnam.
Served as Medic in US Army Special Forces (Green Berets)
Promoted to Master Sergeant
Awarded Two Bronze Stars
Awarded Paratrooper Wings
Awarded Combat Medic Badge
Awarded Humanitarian Service Medal
Awarded Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry
 
COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Served as Volunteer Member of Shandaken Ambulance Squad
Served as Scoutmaster of Shandaken Boy Scout Troop 60 - took our local Scouts on        Superadventures
Trained local First Responders in Rappelling and Rope Rescue Skills.
Awarded Phoenicia School "Jenkins Award" for service to our community's youth.
